Hello, my name is Brianne, and I am so happy to be your Owner and Centre Director here at Oxford Learning Newmarket! I graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly known as Ryerson, in 2023, where I earned a place on the Dean’s List during the duration of my Bachelor of Arts program, where I specialized in English and Geography. Whether it was in different High School classrooms, Oxford Learning Centres, or the Aquatic environment where I was a supervisor and First Aid instructor for many years, education and teaching have always been a passion of mine. I have always enjoyed fostering the love of learning in every student I teach. I enjoy making connections with the students I encounter and helping them see and understand their full potential. My goal here at Oxford Learning Newmarket is to create a welcoming, safe, joyful, and positive learning environment in which every student can thrive and grow in. I enjoy weightlifting, skiing, swimming, travelling, and spending time with my family during my free time.

Tracey Woodhead
Elementary and High School Math and English Teacher
Read More
Hi, my name is Tracey. I am a retired teacher. I taught elementary school for 30 years. Within those 30 years, I taught all kinds of wonderful things: homeroom to Grades 4 –8, music, health and physical education to Grades 1 and 2, special education for students with learning challenges, and instrumental music. English, math and science were my favourites. It was fun! My greatest joy in teaching, however, was coaching volleyball, basketball, badminton and track and field every year. I also had wonderful years leading the choir and band. Overnight trips with the Grade 8 students to Ottawa, Sudbury, and Niagara Falls were also highlights of my career. Now I get to spend more time with my husband, Tim and my 16-year-old daughter, Claire. We have two beautiful, poofy cats, Mo (Cocoa) and Boom. I also enjoy working out, reading, scrapbooking, and gardening in my free time.
