Ontario French Students Facing Declining Math Scores
A Radio Canada Article looks at the results from the 2021-2022 provincial tests and notices a trend toward declining math scores for students.

Our son Dylan has been going to Oxford Learning Barrhaven for a little over two years three nights a week. When Dylan first started there he was in grade 5 and his level was between grade 2 and 3 for math and language. He was struggling so much in school and was not happy. The teachers at Oxford Learning helped him with his confidence so that he can complete his work and not be stressed. He is currently in grade 7 and is now able to do grade 7 math and language! Oxford Learning has helped him so much to get to grade level. He is always happy to go to tutoring and I think a big reason why is how wonderful all his teachers have been over the last two years. Just a week ago he came home from school and had 92% on his math test! Oxford Learning Barrhaven has completely changed my child. She has had challenges in math and comprehension for years and was falling behind in a regular classroom setting. It was obvious she needed more personalized instruction to supplement what she was learning in school. Just wanted to give my feedback on Oxford Learning Centre. It has been such a wonderful journey for my son. He started as a shy, reluctant little boy. Class Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm/ 3:00pm - 7:00pm
- Friday: 10:00 am -1:00pm/ 3:00pm - 5:00 pm
Tutoring Packages: (Effective between July 3 - August 29)
- Package - 30 hours ($1500 for the summer) ($50/hr)
- Package B - 40 hours ($1920 for the summer) ($48/hr)
- Package C - 50 hours/week ($2300 for the summer) ($46/hr)
The hours can be completed anytime between July 3 and August 29. There are no minimum or maximum weekly requirements within this period. Any unused hours cannot be carried over to September.

Learn French through art!
In this camp, students will explore various artistic mediums such as clay, painting, and beading while practicing French communication skills.
Half of each day will focus on French language activities, while the other half will be dedicated to creating crafts, all conducted in French.

Math and Its Real-World Applications!
Students will participate in mathematical exercises to review concepts from the previousschool year and prepare for the upcoming one. Additionally, they will engage in hands-onactivities to apply these skills in real-world scenarios, such as budgeting, calculating taxes,managing finances, and measuring ingredients for cooking.
These activities highlight the practical importance of math in everyday life!

This course helps Grades 7–12 students improve organizational and study skills, including timemanagement, note-taking, test prep, and reading strategies, goal setting, organization,memorization strategies, project planning, test day strategies.

Dive into the world of science!
At our STEM camp, students get the chance to dive into hands-on experiments and tackleexciting, interactive projects designed to inspire creativity and critical thinking.
This camp offers an engaging environment where young minds can discover, learn, and grow—all while having tons of fun!

Master the art of public speaking!
In this empowering camp, students will learn to plan, structure, and deliver compellingspeeches with confidence and clarity.
