Caitlin has been working in the Oxford Learning system for nearly 14 years, and is devoted to her profession. Caitlin cares deeply about the well-being of her staff and students, and it is this compassion and support that have built the foundation for success in her Oxford Learning centres.
Caitlin has been the Co-Owner and Centre Director of Oxford Learning Oakville North for the last 8 years, and has recently opened a new location in Burlington (Appleby-Dundas). Caitlin and her incredible team are dedicated to making a difference, and as such, go above and beyond for every child.
Caitlin’s commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for her staff and students has propelled her Oakville North location into the top 2 ranking of all Oxford Learning centres in Canada (sometimes #1!) This award-winning location excels because its team of passionate educators always do what’s best for their students.
Caitlin has decided to open a second location because she has seen the difference Oxford Learning has made for thousands of kids in her Oakville centre. She wants to provide this same exemplary support to the students in Burlington, where her own kids attend school.
In February 2025, Caitlin was awarded the EFCA100's 2025 Franchisee Outstanding Achievement award, which was an award given to the one franchisee across Canada’s top 100 franchises whose journey “not only exemplifies personal success, but also serves as an inspiration to others..they elevate the profile of franchising within the broader community.” As a result of her success in Oakville, Caitlin was also asked to be the keynote speaker for a major Canadian franchise this summer - stay tuned for the company name!
In the Oxford Learning system, Caitlin volunteers on the Franchisee Advisory Council (5+ years) and actively participates in Oxford Learning’s mentorship initiatives. Caitlin strongly believes in helping everyone around her and finds great value and fulfillment in supporting her fellow franchisees so that they, too, may find success.

Howdy! My name is Sarah and I'm an Education Coordinator and High School Teacher here at Oxford Learning Oakville North! I have a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Genome Biology from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida. My interest in teaching was initially inspired by the excellent teachers at my high school, who not only sparked my lifelong love of science, math, and English but also showed me how important it is to foster a positive and nurturing learning environment. As such, my goal as an educator has always been to make learning fun and accessible for all of my students, and ensure that they are not simply learning, but also loving what they learn. I believe that when students feel supported and heard, and when they feel that the challenges they are facing are understood by their teachers, they can truly spread their wings and soar to their full potential. English, math, and science can all be daunting in their own ways, but with just a little bit of perseverance, and a whole lot of fun and excitement, I know every single one of my students can learn to love these subjects more than they ever thought they could! Outside of work, I love to read, write, bake, crochet, play video games, and discover new restaurants and coffee shops. I'm also obsessed with film photography!

In 2020, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Pure Mathematics, and the following year, I earned another Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics. After two years of advanced studies, I achieved my Master’s degree in Mathematics Education in October 2023. During my journey of studying mathematics, I experienced significant struggles, which has given me a deep understanding of how students feel when faced with complex mathematical concepts. Fortunately, I was inspired by an incredible high school math teacher who encouraged and guided me, making mathematics my strongest subject. Every time I think of my high school math teacher, I am reminded of the power of teaching and inspired to pass that encouragement on to other students. Because of this, I have developed a strong passion for education. I truly enjoy spending time with students, helping them grow, and learning alongside them. The most rewarding part of teaching is witnessing a student's confidence grow as they better understand challenging topics and develop a genuine interest in learning.
