It has been quite the decision to divert money to this instead of flights, trips, and hotels this summer (RIP travel plans 2020).., but seeing my son’s progress within a few weeks has been worth it. Joy is transparent about what to expect and she definitely helped tailor the tutor’s approach to my little one. Such is this year where tough decisions are being made, but if you’ve come this far and are on the fence about Oxford Learning, I encourage you to at least speak with Joy to hear her passion for students to excel! PS: we have been taking the online classes so far and I’m sure it does not fully replace the in-person teaching, but it’s part of the adaptation. As time goes on the online component will evolve and get more sophisticated, but so far, we have been truly happy to see some lightbulbs go off in our son’s mind :)

My daughter has been with Oxford Learning since last year. I have seen big improvement of her English levels. She is more engaged with her school learning. When the school closed in March, I was thankful Oxford Learning offered an online option. It was a nice experience; with only two kids max to one teacher, my daughter is able to interact with her Oxford Learning teacher every time. I know a lot of parent out there has concerns about online class because of the online experience from schools. Oxford Learning online is a real learning class that students are studying knowledge with teacher, not by themselves. I would highly recommend Oxford Learning to all parents out there who are worrying about the kids education.
I used Oxford Learning for help in my Grade 11 pre-cal class and it helped me gain a deeper understanding of the course work as-well-as prepare me for next year.

Over the years we have used private tutoring services and tutoring centres in hopes of finding a service that delivers on their claims. Finally, we found that with the Ocean Park Oxford Learning Centre. Rather than telling us what our son can’t do and what he wasn’t doing, we were told what he was capable of and they helped him work towards achieving his goals. There has never been a time when our son has come home with a smile on his face after a tutoring session until he started working with his teachers at Oxford Learning. With their encouragement, patience, and first-rate teaching methods, our son has gained confidence in his math & physics abilities. I worked for Oxford Learning at the Crescent Beach location for over 8 months and enjoyed every moment of it! I am a certified BC teacher and my philosophy has always been that students need a safe, secure and fun place in order to have the best learning experience possible. This definately is in place at Oxford! Thanks to Joy the owner and her associate Coral , the atmosphere is happy and productive. The students love coming to Oxford at Crescent Beach. Unfortunately I have had to take some time off but look forward to be back in September.
Oxford Learning Ocean Park will continue to run our core program in person at the centre and Virtual learning from 12:00- 5:00 Monday and Friday in July and August.
