Rosemary Sostaric
Director
Rosemary has been the Centre Director since 2008. During this time, she has worked closely with hundreds of families and educators to design and implement individualized supplemental learning programs that foster meaningful, long-term academic growth for students of all ages. Rosemary remains deeply committed to welcoming students to Oxford Learning Danforth, knowing she can play an important role in supporting their educational journey.
As a brand ambassador for Oxford Learning Centres, Rosemary has been featured on Breakfast Television, CTV News, and Rogers Communications. She has also received several organizational honours, including the “100 Kids Award,” recognizing the milestone of supporting 100 students, and the “Bronze Month Award,” presented for exceptional sales achievement. Under her leadership, Oxford Learning Danforth has consistently ranked among the top 25 Oxford Learning Centre locations across Canada.
Rosemary holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and English Literature from York University.
Outside of her work in education, Rosemary is an avid runner who has completed five marathons, including the New York City Marathon and the Paris Marathon.

Maria has been the Education Coordinator since 2022.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Masters of Science Degree in Education from Niagara University.
Maria has extensive experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental exceptionalities. She is passionate about creating inclusive, supportive learning environments and uses differentiated instruction to help every student build confidence and achieve success.

Jamie has been the Math and Science Coordinator since 2010.
Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Astrophysics and the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology from the University of Toronto, as well as a post-graduate certificate in Data Science from the University of Waterloo.
In addition to his teaching and mentoring new teachers at the Centre, Jamie works as a Data Information Analyst with the Ontario Public Service. His passion for education and student success has kept him at Oxford Learning Danforth, making him an integral part of the Centre’s community.

A valued member of the math and science teaching team, Daniel is known for his thoughtful and compassionate approach, always making new students feel welcomed, supported, and confident in their learning journey.

Caitlin has been an English Language Arts Teacher since 2022.
Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from Queen’s University.
In addition to her role at the Centre, Caitlin is an author and editor. Her acclaimed short story collection A Song for Wildcats is currently shortlisted for the Danuta Gleed Literary Award, and in 2025 it was named an Indigo Best Book of the Year and a Quill and Quire Notable Book. Her work has won or been nominated for numerous literary prizes, and has been published in journals, anthologies, and media outlets throughout Canada.
Caitlin has helped hundreds of students develop confidence in their writing and discover their unique voice.

Vera has been a French and English Teacher since 2025.
Vera is a High Distinction graduate of the University of Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in linguistics with minors in Spanish and music history and culture. Throughout her studies, she built a strong academic foundation in phonetics, phonology, and morphology, with particular interests in language analysis and speech patterns.
Vera is fluent in both English and French, with working knowledge of Spanish and Russian. To further develop her French language skills, she completed an exchange program in Québec at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, where she earned top grades in advanced French language and Québec culture courses.
Vera applies her broad expertise in language acquisition to support students in developing literacy skills in their first and second languages.
