Did you know? Between 62-78% of all students lose academic ground during the summer.
Next year’s school success begins this summer at Oxford Learning.
Listen, I get it. I was a kid, too. Have you considered that between the last few weeks of school being a classroom write-off, the nine weeks of summer holidays, and the first 2-3 weeks of back-to-school being a "review", your child could go up to 3+ months or 1/4 of a year without having to engage in academic effort toward progress or maintaining their skills?
Think of it like this: there are 66 days from the end of school until the return to class in Sept 2025. That is 1584 hours! If you can give me & my team at Oxford Learning Hyde Park 30 of those hours... JUST 30! I can help ensure your student doesn't just stop the summer slide, we can GET AHEAD!
I bet you'll feel a lot more confident with what your child does with the other 1554hrs ;)

Studies into summer learning show that students who participate in summer learning programs have an academic advantage in the fall: They are ahead in reading and math, and they start the school year ready to learn.
Research into summer learning shows that students can lose up to 30% of their academic skills over the summer break. This means that in the fall, students are actually further behind than when they left school at the beginning of summer. Maintaining academic momentum over the summer prevents this backward learning slide, helps students remember the material they spent the school year learning, and keeps their brains in active learning mode so that they are ready to learn from the first day of school.
Dear Kristi, Kala, and Geoff, Katayoun and I are so grateful for all your support throughout the tutorial period. It has been such a great pleasure for us to know about your institution and learn the great educational strategies that you have in place for improvement in academic learning. Since joining your team, I have noticed that Katayoun had significant progression in learning principles that you have introduced such as goal setting, active listening, time management, and looking for extra resources for better understanding. I am also thankful for your flexibility and extraordinary organization in class arrangement during this pandemic and for providing online learning. We also wish you and your family all the best. Thank you again! Sincerely, ParvanehThank you★★★★★
Oxford Learning has given our daughter such confidence in her studies. She is always thrilled to attend her classes - she truly LOVES being there! Heather, Shauna, and all the instructors care so deeply about the children - and it shows on all the smiling faces that come out of the door. Sending our daughter to Oxford Learning was the best decision we made. Not only does she excel at school, but she is also more organized and so willing to tackle new problems - anywhere in her life, not only school. We can’t thank you enough!Kristin & Mike★★★★★

Hi Everybody! I am so excited to introduce myself to all of the amazing families looking for a provider to guide them through the challenging educational landscape. I am SO passionate about helping families; as a mother myself, I understand how stressful it can be to find a provider you know is going to listen and provide you with a service you can appreciate.
I am a lifelong horse person, an avid dog lover, a Spin-Class enthusiast, and a book reader extraordinaire! While this is the first Oxford Learning location I have technically owned, I am actually the Director of Training for Oxford Learning Centres Inc.! Fun fact: Oxford Learning has been part of my entire life, as my Dad, Dr. Nick Whitehead, started Oxford Learning in 1984. I have been with the company formally for almost 15 years and couldn't be happier to finally have my own location.
Give me a call and tell me your story!
