“As a parent, one of the best things we can offer our children are the proper tools for learning that will last a life time. My children have been attending the Little Readers Program for 3 years and I have enjoyed seeing them develop through the different levels of learning that Oxford Learning offers. I have enjoyed watching my children learn their letters, sounds, numbers, and words. They now have the ability to fluently read at such a young age. The classes are small and the teachers make learning fun through song and music. The Little Reader’s Program is a warm and caring environment. Children learn at their own pace and develop a very good working relationship with the teacher.” Sandra D.Sandra D.
“Oxford Learning has provided our daughter with a comfortable environment and an opportunity to learn at a rate that is appropriate for her. She has gained so much confidence in her abilities by the encouragement she received from the teachers and from her achievements. It is wonderful to see that after 1 year of hard work, she is beginning to read at the age of 4. Oxford Learning has been able to nurture her love of learning. For that, we are very grateful.” Ana F.Ana F.
“The Little Readers program has been a valuable asset in preparing my son for elementary school. More importantly, Oxford Learning has created a solid foundation for him with his reading and comprehension.” Justin D.Justin D.
“Thanks to Oxford Learning, my child has a new found interest in the sciences and is thinking about going into Engineering” LaurieLaurie
“I can’t say enough about the Little Readers program. I absolutely love the program. My son is doing wonderful in his Reading and Math work. I would strongly recommend Oxford Learning for any child.” TrudyTrudy
“I think Oxford Learning is excellent! My daughter learned so much. She learned the sounds of her letters and dramatically improved on her fine motor skills.” ToulaToula

Hey there! My name is Nikita. My
journey with Oxford Learning has been
an incredible adventure spanning over 12 years. With my Honours Bachelor of Science from York University, my passion for education led me to become the proud owner of the Oxford Learning Centre in Richmond Hill Elgin Mills.
What I love most about my work is seeing each student's unique journey unfold. Creating a warm, supportive environment where kids can build confidence and tackle challenges is what keeps me going. The joy on their faces when they achieve something new is the absolute best part of my day.
As the owner and Centre Director, I’m deeply involved in everything that happens at the centre. We’ve built an amazing team, and together, we're dedicated to providing the best personalized education possible.
Beyond the centre, I’m an active part of the Richmond Hill community. I love joining local events and supporting youth initiatives.
I’m really excited about the future and can’t wait to continue this journey of helping students thrive and succeed. This is more than just a job to me—it’s my passion, my joy, and my calling.

Hi! My name is Jhay, and I am a University of Toronto Honours Bachelor of Science graduate with a major in Biology and minors in Psychology and Economics. While in university, I was a youth leader for a Sunday school in Scarborough and also worked as a tutor for a short time. After university, I worked in financial services for three years while also pursuing my CFA designation. Recently, I decided to pursue a career in teaching and am now in the process of applying to teachers' college so that I can eventually become an Ontario school teacher. I greatly enjoy my experience at Oxford Learning, as I am able to assist in the academic and personal achievement of my students!

Hello! I am so thankful to have the chance to serve our students in the Oxford Learning community. This very centre was one of my first employment opportunities upon arrival to Canada in 2017, and has held a very special place in my heart ever since. I firmly believe in our independent study skills learning strategy, and regularly incorporate it into our sessions, and I am so honoured to witness our students slowly transform into more confident and capable learners. I am also an Ontario-certified teacher with the York Region District School Board and Durham Catholic District School Board. I have two Master's degrees, one from the Master of Teaching program with the University of Toronto and a Master of Arts in Spanish from the University of New Hampshire. As much as I am able, I participate in professional development opportunities, the last ones being additional qualification courses in Special Education, Teaching English Language Learners, and Primary Education. Prior to teaching in Canada, I earned experience teaching in the United States and Spain as a high school teacher and in Bolivia as a primary teacher. Although I am able to teach all subjects, my niche is language. Looking forward to our time together!

Salut, my name is Moise; I have a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, which is where my passion for teaching began. I attended French school (école française) for most of my life and have a DELF Diploma C1; my parents and siblings are also francophone, so I grew up speaking it at home. I am very excited to continue my teaching journey at Oxford Learning. I enjoy teaching students at Oxford Learning because I get to work with them personally and help them improve in the areas where they might be struggling. I am very proud of my student’s success and constantly strive to create an environment where they feel comfortable expressing themselves and taking risks.
