Education Coordinator
Hey! My name is Michelle, and I'm one of the Education Coordinators at Oxford Learning York Mills. I worked as a tutor for a few years at Tamiza's other centre, and when she took over York Mills, I wanted to come and help however I could! I completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Mental Health at the University of Toronto, as well as a graduate certificate in Addictions and Mental Health. I'm hoping to work as a counsellor or therapist in the future. I really enjoy working with kids and making sure they reach their full potential by developing a positive outlook on life and learning!

Education Coordinator
Hello! My name is Angelica, and I am one of the Education Coordinators at Oxford Learning York Mills. I really enjoyed working as a tutor for a couple of years at another Oxford Learning location, but I wanted to work closer to my school, so when a Coordinator position opened up at York Mills, I jumped at the opportunity to continue being a part of the Oxford Learning family! I have always enjoyed working with kids, and I had some impactful teachers who were really great influences. They inspired me to pursue teaching as a career path. I am completing my French education degree at York University, and I'm looking forward to applying everything I've learned and will continue to learn in my role as an educator and, eventually, a teacher!

Hi! My name is Shangavi Muhunthan, and I am currently in my third year at the University of Toronto pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science with a Mathematics Specialist program. As an aspiring teacher, I always make an effort to inspire and enlighten students to raise their confidence and improve their academic skills. As a tutor at Oxford Learning, I create personal bonds with students and listen to their questions and concerns while encouraging them throughout their academic journey. My approach to teaching is rooted in the belief that a positive and supportive relationship between teachers and students is what creates a fun learning environment. As a math student, I aim to demystify the subject, making it understandable, enjoyable, and applicable to real-life scenarios.
I look forward to showcasing my skills using various teaching methods to educate and inspire!

Hi, I’m Samira! I’m an extremely enthusiastic, hardworking, and down-to-earth third-year University of Toronto Scarborough Campus student working towards an HBSc, completing a Math Specialist Program in hopes of becoming a high school educator. By working at Oxford Learning, I hope to replace the average student’s distaste for mathematics with a positive outlook and a better understanding of its concepts and applications. I pride myself on providing several angles to understand math geometrically as well as algebraically. I look forward to working with you!
