Steve established Oxford Learning Royal York in 1995. He has resided in the Bloor West neighbourhood for over twenty-five ears. After earning a B.Math (University of Waterloo 1971), he made his early career in information systems services. Later, Steve taught college courses for many years before launching Oxford Learning Royal York. Steve is an avid runner. One of his ambitions is to spend every summer camped beside a northern lake.

Cristina holds an Honours B.A. and MA. She is a certified assessor with 7 years of experience with Oxford Learning. Previously, she worked for the Italian consulate in Toronto and studied English, Italian and Criminology. In her administrative and supervisory position, she sees her role as setting standards high and maintaining a strong, supportive environment to ensure that goals can be met.

Kaye holds a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education with a minor in Educational Psychology. She is currently completing a Masters program in language and literacy. She enjoys acro-gymnastics and is one enthusiastic runner. Her recent adventure was climbing Mount Kilimanjaro!

Daniel holds an Honors B.A and B.Ed from the University of Toronto. He has been with Oxford Learning since 2008. He presently teaches Mathematics at the high school level for the Toronto District School Board. Daniel constantly strives to ensure his students achieve academic success.

Janet holds a Bachelor of Science and Education degree. She worked for the TDSB for 13 years in various grade levels. She started her career with Oxford Learning at the Beaches location and joined Royal York in 2012. Janet and her husband also work full-time as live-in servants for their cat.

Arjola comes to us with a B.A in French at the secondary level. She also holds a teaching certificate as a Teacher of Italian language. She has taught French and Italian in both the elementary and secondary levels in Albania. For two years, she was also a French translator for the French Red Cross in Albania. She loves music and taking long walks.

She enjoys the arts, particulary dance and music.

Louise holds a B.A from the University of Western Ontario and a B.Ed. from Althouse College of Education, UWO. Louise has taught the Little Readers program for ten years and also spent three additional years tutoring and administering assessments in the After-School Core program. Her previous teaching experiences were as a teacher of J.K, S.K. and Grades 1-3 in the public school system. She has certifications in E.S.L. and teaching Reading at the primary level. In 2013, she was awarded the Flora Manuel Memorial Award for being the best Little Readers Teacher.

Teresa graduated from York University with a B.A in Health and Society. She has worked for Oxford Learning since 2005 and was promoted to Education Coordinator in 2007. Upon returning from maternity leave in 2009, Teresa was promoted to be the second Little Readers Teacher. She has a four year old son who also attends Little Readers.
